UTMB TedMed (4/20)
To ALL UTMB students:
Registration is now OPEN for the inaugural TedMed Live event here at UTMB. This is a Student Life sponsored event and is free to all students who wish to participate. Due to limited capacity, TedMed Live will only be able to accommodate the first 200 students that fill out the registration form (with the potential to open up additional spots at a later time; so don’t worry!).
WHAT IS TEDMED Live
TedMed Live is a full-day event (10 am – 4 pm) at UTMB that brings the excitement of TED Talks to Galveston. It will be a combination of live speakers and recorded TED Talks from the official TEDMED event in Washington DC. We’re also seeking out student artists and scientists to showcase their work during this day. In short: TedMed Live is designed to get you excited about the future of medicine and ignite your desire to be a part of shaping it!
For those who are not able to attend, due to capacity limits, you can still be a part of the TedMed Live experience! Every student and faculty will have access to the free TEDMED app (for mobile devices) and online access to all official TEDMED Talks.
